In Windows, do this by right-clicking the system-tray icon and choosing &#8220;Open&#8221;<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/open-cybersecure.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-27\" title=\"open-cybersecure\" src=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/open-cybersecure.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"243\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Go into the backup settings by clicking the &#8220;Cog&#8221; icon:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/open-settings.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-54\" title=\"open-advanced-settings\" src=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/open-settings-300x219.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"219\" srcset=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/open-settings-300x219.png 300w, http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/open-settings.png 712w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Select the appropriate backup set<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/select-backup-set.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1119\" title=\"select-backup-set\" src=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/select-backup-set-300x214.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"214\" srcset=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/select-backup-set-300x214.png 300w, http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/select-backup-set.png 705w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Open the <strong>&#8220;Backup Schedule&#8221;<\/strong> settings and confirm that the &#8220;Run scheduled backup on this computer&#8221; is <strong>TICKED<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/adv-select-backup-schedule.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1120\" title=\"adv-select-backup-schedule\" src=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/adv-select-backup-schedule-300x214.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"214\" srcset=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/adv-select-backup-schedule-300x214.png 300w, http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/adv-select-backup-schedule.png 705w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Always &#8220;Save Settings&#8221; to the server to commit any configuration changes<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/advanced-save-settings.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-212\" title=\"advanced-save-settings\" src=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/advanced-save-settings-300x222.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"222\" srcset=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/advanced-save-settings-300x222.png 300w, http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/advanced-save-settings.png 702w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #339966;\">Check the backup scheduler service is running<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Check that the <a title=\"Restarting or stopping the backup scheduler (standard\/advanced edition)\" href=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/?p=102\">online backup scheduler service is currently running<\/a>, if it&#8217;s not then start it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #339966;\">Stop all backup processes and clear the backup queue<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>If the scheduler is running, then the backup may have become stale or stuck, follow these steps on <a title=\"Fixing stuck backups\/clearing the backup queue (standard\/advanced editions)\" href=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/?p=2561\">clearing the backup queue<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Wait until the next scheduled backup, <strong>if the backup is still being missed<\/strong> continue onto the next steps<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #339966;\">Ensure that power settings do not sleep the computer<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>If your computer goes into a sleep mode it will miss the backup, ensure that it&#8217;s been <a title=\"Recommended power settings\" href=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/?p=1062\">set to stay powered on<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #339966;\">Contact CyberSecure support<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>If the backups are still being missed, then contact the CyberSecure support team.
