Cause<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. The user connecting does not have appropriate SQL permissions to access the database (scheduled backups use SQL authentication NOT Windows authentication).<\/li>\n
  2. TCP\/IP is not enabled on the SQL server.<\/li>\n
  3. TCP\/IP for the SQL server is not set to listen on the correct IP address.<\/li>\n
  4. Mixed mode authentication is enabled on the SQL server.<\/li>\n
  5. The SQL user’s password that the backup is triggering as may be expired<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Resolution<\/h2>\n

    1. Grant appropriate backup privileges<\/a> for the SQL user that CyberSecure is connecting to the SQL server as<\/li>\n
    2. Enable TCP\/IP on the SQL server<\/a><\/li>\n
    3. Set the SQL server to listen on the correct IP address<\/a><\/li>\n
    4. Enable SQL mixed mode authentication<\/a><\/li>\n
