{"id":240,"date":"2011-03-09T00:47:20","date_gmt":"2011-03-09T00:47:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/?p=240"},"modified":"2011-03-23T17:25:30","modified_gmt":"2011-03-23T06:25:30","slug":"errornew-mail-xxxx-the-system-cannot-find-the-file-specified","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/?p=240","title":{"rendered":"[Error][New Mail] XXXX The system cannot find the file specified"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Error:<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">[Error][New Mail] Mail=&#8221;SBS2003\\Mailbox Store\\User\\Inbox\\XXXX.msg&#8221; Error=&#8221;C:\\CyberSecure-spool\\1201549064328\\1283040554906.msg (The system cannot find the file specified)&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Cause:<\/h2>\n<p>These errors messages occur while trying to backup individual mailboxes.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>If anti-virus software is installed and is active, it most likely will be automatically scanning the &#8220;Temporary directory for spooling&#8221; folder.<\/li>\n<li>When the CyberSecure Advanced agent runs, the agent makes a copy  of the mail from the Exchange store into the temporary folder ready to be backed  up offsite.<\/li>\n<li>Should this email contain a virus or other malware the anti-virus software does not allow the file to be written to the disk as a protective measure.<\/li>\n<li>CyberSecure Advanced expects the file to be there however and generates an error when the file is not present in the backup.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Resolution:<\/h2>\n<p>Add the CyberSecure &#8220;Temporary spooling location&#8221; to the \u201cExclusion\u201d list of the anti-virus software so that the spooled emails are not scanned by the anti-virus engine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Error: [Error][New Mail] Mail=&#8221;SBS2003\\Mailbox Store\\User\\Inbox\\XXXX.msg&#8221; Error=&#8221;C:\\CyberSecure-spool\\1201549064328\\1283040554906.msg (The system cannot find the file specified)&#8221; Cause: These errors messages occur while trying to backup individual mailboxes.
