{"id":2336,"date":"2013-08-15T14:29:18","date_gmt":"2013-08-15T04:29:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/?p=2336"},"modified":"2020-04-25T10:39:20","modified_gmt":"2020-04-25T00:39:20","slug":"why-am-i-being-prompted-to-setup-a-trial-registration-standardadvanced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/?p=2336","title":{"rendered":"Why am I being prompted to setup a trial registration?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Situation<\/h2>\n<p>You already have a CyberSecure standard\/advanced account, however the software is prompting to setup a trial registration.<\/p>\n<h2>Cause<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>You are logged on as a different local user than the account was originally setup under.<\/li>\n<li>The local profile folder has been moved or deleted.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Resolution<\/h2>\n<p>You have 2x choices:<\/p>\n<h3>Find the original local account the backup was setup\/managed under<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Check which <a title=\"Where is the backup profile located (standard\/advanced edition)\" href=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/?p=1792\">active profile<\/a> the software is referring to.<\/li>\n<li>Login to the computer as the local user as defined in the active profile<\/li>\n<li>You should be able to manage the backup under this account<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>OR migrate the active profile to a different local user<\/h3>\n<p>If you want to change the user that the active backup profile is registered under, perform these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a title=\"Restarting or stopping the backup scheduler (standard\/advanced edition)\" href=\"http:\/\/support.cybersecure.com\/?p=102\">Stop the &#8220;online backup scheduler&#8221; service<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Copy the ENTIRE .obm or .acb folder into the updated profile path location as specified in home.txt in the previous step<\/li>\n<li>Edit home.txt to point to the new profile path, eg: &#8220;C:\\Users\\new user\\.obm&#8221; or &#8220;C:\\Users\\new user\\.acb&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Start the &#8220;online backup scheduler&#8221; service<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Situation You already have a CyberSecure standard\/advanced account, however the software is prompting to setup a trial registration.
